Despite an ongoing drought, 2014 turned out to be a great vintage. Fruit frontward with layers of dark fruit on the olfactory organ and aromas and flavours of ripe blackness cherries, blackberries and cassis on the palate. Subtle bear upon of spice. Expert structure and residual, well integrated oak. Firm tannins starting to mellow. Closes in a long, lingering cedary finish.
